New Product: Kahlua Coffee Cream Liqueur

kahlua cream bottleThere’s a new product from the Kahlua line that’s about to make its debut and I have a feeling it’s going to be a hit for the holiday season. It’s Kahlua Coffee Cream Liqueur—think consistency of Bailey’s or Castries but with that famous Kahlua coffee flavor. Yum!

I’m lucky enough to have already had the chance to try it and it’s honestly great. Right up my alley. I loved it just served on the rocks, but I think come September we might get a few ideas about how to mix it in some great cocktails. I’ll keep you posted on an event we have coming right around the corner.

I want to stress that Kahlua Coffee Cream has a bold coffee flavor, and it’s a liqueur so expect it to be slightly sweet (but in my opinion, not kahlua cream iceoverpoweringly so). It’s made with 100% Arabica beans and natural cream. I think it will balance out fantastically with a variety of liquors. I can’t wait to try it out. I’ll be posting recipes throughout the fall season so keep an eye here for updates.

Kahlua Coffee Cream hits shelves late September early October.

Cheers!

  1. Doesn’t sound very exciting for me.
Sounds like a fix of a White Russian…
    Or Kahlua with Cream?

Anyway – it wouldn’t be hard to make it yourself with normal Kahlua…

While it’s definitely got a similar flavor profile to a White Russian or Kahlua & Cream, I find this one’s got a more forward and robust coffee flavor. It’s not a “pre-mixed” cocktail like those “margarita in a bottle” type things. It’s just a coffee-flavored, cream-based liqueur.

      Hi George-

Thanks for visiting Cocktail Culture. Kahlua Coffee Cream has very wide distribution so you should be able to find it in any larger retail stores that also carry Kahlua. But I will warn you, the product is limited edition and they will no longer be shipping the product as of the end of this month, so get some while you can!

      Best of Luck!

I just made the best desert Kahlua Martini ever. I used 3 oz of premium quality vodka & 2 oz of Kahlua Coffee Cream Liqueur & 2 oz of Chocolate Milk. I Cocoa rimmed my Martini glass & then set it aside to chill in the freezer. Shake all the ingredients w/ a couple cubes of ice in a shaker & then strain inot your pre-chilled glass. AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
